Rescued Redeemed Transformed Ministries was founded out of a deep conviction that rescue is important, but rescue is not the end of the story.

There is often a gap between being removed from a crisis and learning how to live healed, whole, and free. Individuals coming out of human trafficking, exploitation, domestic violence, abuse, addiction, and complex trauma may receive immediate help, yet still carry the wounds of what they experienced for years.​

RRT exists to help bridge that gap.​

We walk alongside individuals through one-on-one mentorship, small groups, biblical discipleship, inner healing, practical support, and healthy community. Our focus is not simply on what someone has come out of, but on helping them heal, discover their God-given identity, rebuild their lives, and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Bridging the Gap in the Church

We believe the Church has an important role in long-term restoration. Many churches have compassionate people who want to help those affected by trauma and exploitation but may not know how to walk with them through the healing process.

RRT helps equip churches and leaders through training, mentorship, and discipleship so they can become part of that restoration journey.

We believe healing happens through relationship:

Our Story

RRT was founded by Valerie Carter out of both personal experience and decades of witnessing the devastating effects of trafficking, abuse, addiction, exploitation, and trauma on individuals and families.

Growing up in Oakland, California, Valerie was exposed firsthand to many of these realities. Her own experiences, along with years of walking alongside people in crisis, developed into a lifelong calling to help the brokenhearted move beyond crisis and rescue into healing, freedom, and lasting restoration.

Today, RRT walks alongside individuals while also equipping churches and communities to become places where the brokenhearted can find relationship, discipleship, healing, belonging, and hope.

We don't just want to see people rescued. We want to see lives restored and the Church equipped to walk with them.
