Amara’s Story: Living From Her True Identity
We are calling her “Amara” to protect her identity.
For much of her life, Amara lived out of what abuse had taught her about herself. She grew up being told she was worthless and unlovable, and those lies did not simply affect how she felt. They began to dictate her decisions, her relationships, her boundaries, and the way she saw her future.
Through mentorship, discipleship, prayer, and walking through The Great Exchange, Amara began to recognize the difference between what happened to her, what she came to believe because of it, and what God says is actually true.
Today, we are watching her make decisions from a completely different place. Instead of allowing abuse and the lies of her past to dictate her choices, she is learning to operate from her true identity in Christ.
She is loved. She has value. She has a voice. She has purpose.
Her past does not get to tell her who she is or determine where she is going.
This is restoration. This is why we walk beyond rescue.
A Note From Valerie
September has been an incredible month of growth, preparation, and seeing God move in the lives of those we serve. As we move into October, I am intentionally setting aside more time for prayer, rest, and seeking the Lord for what is ahead.
Even in a season of slowing down, the work of RRT continues. We are mentoring, discipling, developing resources, sharing stories of hope, and preparing The Great Exchange to reach even more people.
But more than numbers or projects, what matters most to us is seeing a life transformed.
Look What God Is Doing!
Our YouTube community has now grown to more than 50,000 subscribers! Through the Rescued Redeemed Transformed Podcast, testimonies, conversations, and biblical teaching are reaching people far beyond those we could ever meet personally.
The Great Exchange is growing. We continue developing and recording this restoration and discipleship program while also turning it into resources that can eventually be used by survivors, mentors, churches, and ministry leaders.
We are also developing adult materials, along with children’s and preteen/teen resources, designed to help individuals of all ages who have experienced trauma, abuse, and deep hurt begin walking toward healing, truth, healthy boundaries, identity, hope, and purpose.
RRT has also been given the opportunity to consult on an upcoming film, bringing our experience in survivor restoration and long-term healing to the project.

Will You Pray With Us?
Please pray for the women and men we mentor, for wisdom as we develop The Great Exchange, for our children’s and teen resources, for the doors opening through media and film, and for God to provide everything needed for the next season.
Every life matters. Every story matters. And every person deserves someone willing to walk with them beyond rescue.
