Rescue. Redemption. Transformation.
🌟 January Impact Update
This year has already begun in such a beautiful and powerful way at RRT Ministries, and we are filled with gratitude for what God is doing.
💛 The Great Exchange Retreat
We welcomed the New Year with our annual healing retreat, The Great Exchange.
22 women, ages 15 to 55, who have experienced trauma, exploitation, and even human trafficking, gathered with us for deep healing and restoration.
This retreat is not a one-time moment. It is part of our ongoing commitment to walk alongside each woman in her continued journey of healing ~ spiritually, emotionally, and practically. Healing is a process, and we stay with them.
✨ From Marked to Redeemed
This month, we had the honor of helping one of our precious women cover a trafficking brand on her body ~ a painful symbol of ownership from her past.
This was more than cosmetic. It was deeply spiritual.
She no longer belongs to man or to the kingdom of darkness. Her identity is now rooted in Christ as a daughter of the Most High King.
This is what transformation looks like. Thank you to Pastor James Buster of Tattoo Chapel.
🤍 Support During Crisis
We also stepped in to help one of the precious ladies we mentor who was facing unexpected hardship.
She is faithfully working a career job in the beauty industry while continuing her schooling and building her resume as she rebuilds her life. Recently, she suffered broken bones and was unable to work. For many survivors of trauma, the reality is simple:
If they can’t work, they don’t eat.
Because of your generosity, we were able to support her financially during recovery so she can continue moving forward without losing stability or the progress she has worked so hard to build.
🛡 Children Set Free
In January, RRT also helped fund a major children’s rescue operation, helping set captives free and giving vulnerable children a chance at safety and a new beginning.
🏠 Meeting Practical Needs with Dignity
This month we also delivered 30 brand-new sets of high-quality sheets and towels to one of the homes we support.
For many of the women coming out of trauma and instability, something as simple as fresh, beautiful bedding is more than a comfort — it restores dignity, safety, and a sense of being valued. These are the kinds of practical expressions of love that help create environments where healing can truly take place.
🔥 This Is the Acts Church
RRT Ministries operates like the early church in the Book of Acts ~ living generously and helping those in need.
Every donation goes directly back into the lives of those we serve through:
Rescue support
Healing programs
Practical care
Long-term restoration
And that was just January.
We are expectant for all God will do in the months ahead.
❤️ Thank you for being part of rescue, redemption, and transformation in action.
With gratitude,Valerie CarterFounder & DirectorRRT Ministries
